Cancer is the leading killer of humans today and although we’ve seen many medical advancements in combating it, there seems to be an increase in the rate of cancer incidents. The latest and greatest treatments for cancer today are radiation and chemotherapy. However, these treatments not just kill the cancer cells, but also the healthy ones.
The solutions or treatments that seem to work well without doing harm to the patient are the so-called alternative therapy or protocol. Since the early 1900s, there have been many natural protocols for cancer treatments but eventually deemed illegal by healthy authorities.
Fortunately, these therapies are still at work, and although not considered mainstream, they work far better than the considered conventional treatments. One of these therapies or protocols come from Germany that lasts for 6 weeks, or equivalent to 42 days. The creator of this therapy is an Austrian named Rudolf Breuss. The juice is 500 ml freshly juiced vegetables comprise of radish, celery, carrots, and beetroot. In addition to the juice, herbal teas along with onion broth are also given to the patient. This protocol claimed to have cured thousands of people during the 42 day treatment period.
Now, looking at it without digging further and from the conventional treatment point of view, this sounds too good to be true. However, there are medical review articles that mentioned the effectiveness of the protocol. One paper1 mentioned an incident in which patients were cured through his protocol.
Another review paper2 also mentioned Rudolf Breuss’ protocol. The latest paper to mentioned the protocol is the one published at International Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine3, and on this paper4, as well.
Most certainly, there are other papers that mentioned the Breuss cancer treatment protocol and perhaps many others didn’t bother to share their experiences but cured using this protocol. In 1995, a book entitled The Breuss Cancer Cure was made available to the public and it is still available today.
The freshly juiced vegetable mixture consists of;
- 55% red beet root – 300 grams
- 20% carrots – 100 grams
- 20% celery root – 100 grams
- 3% raw potato – 10 to 30 grams options
- 2% black radish – 10 to 30 grams
According to Rudolf Breuss, the raw potato is optional unless the patient has liver cancer. All the vegetables should be mixed in the juicer and then strain the juice to get rid of any sediments. The juice mixture should not be taken in exceed of half a liter or 500 ml per day. Prior to starting the treatment, a 250 ml can be taken and a spoonful along with meals.
Charlotte Gerson, daughter of the Dr. Max Gerson also wrote several books that are available at Amazon. The historical autobiography of Harry Hoxsey creator of the Hoxsey therapy is also available at Amazon for those who are interested in learning more about him.
